Sapphire is a precious gemstone, a variety of the mineral corundum, consisting of aluminium oxide with other trace elements and due to it's rarity and hardness has been the symbol of purity and status since Roman times. A lab grown sapphire is a gemstone that is created in a laboratory instead of one formed naturally within the earth. These gemstones, although man made, have the same chemical, visual and physical properties as mined sapphires.

Fable Ore's signature style is a simple series of lines and geometric shapes that create an interwoven feeling of depth, evoking runic symbols and the spirit of patterns from ancient cultures. These markings are inscribed over smooth contours and framed by borders that are reminiscent of Celtic panels and heraldic armour.

Our silver jewellery is oxidised so the pattern lines stand out. The top surface is brightly polished.
